About WWA

WorldWide Autographs, Inc. is a private gallery based in the Netherlands, with a history dating back to approximately 1980. Behind WWA is a group of collectors dedicated to obtaining autographs in person and offering items backed by their provenance, a professional evaluation, and a lifetime guarantee.

This is our official verification website. Here you can look up your WWA certificate record, compare the photograph of the associated item, learn about our guarantee, and contact us with questions about your item.

Autographs obtained in person

The autographs offered by WWA are obtained exclusively in person through our network of collaborators and contacts in Los Angeles, New York, Amsterdam, and London. We do not acquire items from third parties or other collections for resale.

Signatures are obtained at recording studios, sporting events, red carpets, and other encounters with personalities from film, music, sports, and other fields. This direct involvement in obtaining the signatures is the foundation of our work.

Our evaluation. Our responsibility.

Our team of handwriting experts examines signatures by considering slant, stroke flow, pen pressure, letter size and formation, and other handwriting characteristics. These features are compared with reference exemplars in our private database.

Each certificate of authenticity represents our professional evaluation and our backing of the autograph at the time of sale.

No authentication method is infallible. That is why our commitment continues after the certificate is issued: if an autograph is proven not to be authentic, we will refund the amount paid by the collector, no matter how many years have passed.

A record for each certificate

Our new serialized certificates link a unique Certificate ID and QR code to a photographic record of the corresponding item. When verifying a certificate, compare that photograph carefully with the item in your possession.

The certificate records our evaluation, the photograph identifies the item, and the lifetime guarantee provides financial protection for the collector.
